I loved this paragraph. It struck a part of me that I didn’t believe existed.
“Writing, I realized, is the writer’s breath. Returning to the breath is coming back to the page. Just showing up and putting words down. It doesn’t matter what the words are. What matters is the habit of writing and being willing to return to the habit over and over.”

It took me two and half years to get a business account. I’m not sure what my block was, but I just didn’t want to complicate the money side of things. Turns out a business account made money management easier. Who knew?

Right there with you. It’s the rising prices that have done it for me; seems every time I blink they’re adding another 30p or so!

It’s a shame because in theory public transport is a wonderful thing.

public transport in Slovenia is horrible. I’m one of the more eco conscious people and I’ve been using public transport almost daily in the last ten years. but I’ve had enough, loosing so much of my time on smelly buses and trains. I think I can’t avoid not to buy a car anymore.

Coming from the other side here though; in my infinite wisdom as a teen I decided I didn’t want to learn to drive yet. I’ve been using public transport for years now – losing its shine just a smidge.

This was a very interesting blog today. I have never been on a bus (other than a school bus as a child for 2 years) and god-forbid I ever ride a train.. I’m terrified of trains. I love my SUV and can’t even be a passenger in a vehicle. I either have to drive or I don’t go. Pretty sad, huh?
